I just heard a snippet of that "can you please" record. Dude is really playing into the early 2000s baton rouge sound heavy.

I find it odd but dope at the same time. This man is from cali with a Louisiana sound

As a huge Robb fan I can tell you he definitely was not trying during that era

Molly World was great imo, he went on tour with X and em I'm pretty sure he had a tour where they were present aswell, that's good traction.

I think he did try to make some moves during the time Florida underground was popping, even got signed to Rich Gang. If he wasn't trying there then he wasn't trying most of his career imo.

Sorry to derail the thread, Tweaker a banger

It isn't surprising. Some Cali niggas were experimenting with NOLA back in the late 90s. So I guess this is the fruit of it.

Also, where dem Omaha brehs at? That's literally the 2nd home of NOLA if we being real

Yeah I know everybody is saying Nelly (which I get) but when I first heard it I immediately thought of Louisiana/Baton Rouge music

Yeah it's crazy how much this bites the BR sound glad I've finally seen someone mention it

He’s the Creedence Clearwater Revival of the rap game

I don’t really hear it. The beat sounds like a modern Florida beat, the verses are pretty much what you’d here now. The hook kinda sounds like that era but even then to say he’s biting is kinda crazy to me
