For Slim I'd start with the album Give it 2 em Raw and go from there. That's his first and to me his best album but everything's worth listening to. He only dropped a couple albums before he died.

Also this ain't even getting into stuff like bounce because I'm not big into bounce really but as a genre there's tons of stuff to discover especially if you want some stuff to play at a party
