Yeah what I mostly got out of reading through that is that OP is tough as nails. I can't even say "don't give up" because if he hasn't yet he probably won't.

Life gives us all sorts of reasons to quit, but childhood is a crapshoot in ways adulthood with the relative agency it offers cannot be. I don't miss mine at all. theres nothing anyone can really tell you that will rid the trauma you have experienced or change the situations you are in. your care and affection for your baby brother is nothing short of admirable and honorable. but please dont forget to take care of yourself just as much as you want to take care of him. it is okay to be selfish at times and moving out will greatly benefit you as far as i can see. keep ya chin up n stay moving brother.
