Life Aint No Joke
Wild how its from 2012, 12 years ago
Been a fan of Durk since drill era first popped off. Haven’t heard every project or anything but will always respect he was one of the few from that era to maintain relevance
And he’ll have a few songs from each project I fw. This is one of the hardest songs of 2020s
white boy
this dont work bro white people love crap like lil durk and nocap and yb
He's big because he's mid. Most people don't like s*** that sounds like something they haven't heard before tbh.
Big mid but I know like 3 features from him that I don’t mind.
It’s just all these autotune rappers singing about coming out the struggle with the same melodies as everyone else, you don’t stand out much. It all starts to blend in and sound the same

Knew it was one of them ones since first listen
No idea what y’all talking about
The Voice Deluxe might be the rap album of the decade to me
Finesse Out The Gang Way, Switched Up, Let Em Know, Refugee, Not The Same, The Voice, Going Strong are all at least 9/10
Either this album or WLR
JCYW2 Deluxe is another classic
Almost Healed got some amazing song as well
Casual music listeners prefer to use music as background noise to whatever activity they’re engaging in. Artists like durk and lil baby make music that’s intended to be background noise. It’s largely inoffensive with samey production that’s supposed to be “hard” but not actually hard enough to scare away the casual listener.
If you sit down and try to engage with this type of music, you’re gonna have a bad time. It’s not meant for that. It’s meant to be played in the background while you’re at a function, or at the gym, or playing warzone.
This is second-screen music. Once you understand that, it’s easy to see how it’s so popular.
had to return to this great comment.
I remember watching a viral clip of Lil Baby being played at an Atlanta night club and not a soul was dancing or even vibing to the music.
Niggas was texting, talking, and forming cliques while the song was playing lol.
Sounds like a regular night at an Atlanta night club that ain't lit lol
he dropped a lot of mid but his good songs are REALLY good. he shines when he gets in his melodic rap bag
I agree really any from the Chicago chief era overrated trash
