tomorrow volverseI just don't think us as civilians should look down on rappers who snitch for being snitches. I enjoy street music and respect the human beings who make it because it's a way for them to express themselves, have an outlet for their trauma, and hopefully if they make it, a way out of their environment for themselves, their loved ones, and the next generation of their families. It is art. But we also need to realize that the ones who do wrong in the streets are not less wrong just because they make bangers. I can enjoy an EST Gee album while also acknowledging that the content is mostly destructive and if he really is involved in what he raps about then he will likely go to prison.
I get it with us civilians but folks acting surprised that Durk and dudes that actually live that life don’t mess with snitches is just hilarious to me. That way of living is corny to most of us because we’re outsiders to that culture. That’s just what I was getting at cause I been seeing people call Durk corny or try to get on him for the way he coming with this. It just seems on brand for him to feel like that.
