I think a lot of the reason ppl miss “old uzi” is bc of the old producers. I miss dp, fki, charlie heat, dj plugg, maaly raw, don cannon, zaytoven, metro, etc
I’m with you, he technically went back to his roots with WoD but also half that list of producers arnt in their prime anymore either (although they all still have made good beats since). I’m hoping Uzi will understand why he stood out in the first place (one of the major reasons being his ear for great production) and start to fall back in line. I think he is very much so riding the popular wave rn to the detriment of everyone but the casuals.
