Yeah i was gonna edit and say brandon already defuncted but also this is his 4th feat in a row with an extremely similar beat its getting old

I think the other big thing I miss from Uzi old music is how he could come up with a simple catchy chorus and then just spazz on the verse. While EA had a little bit of that it was more all or nothing (all hard raps or all more melodic s***).

I miss songs like enemies where he would be rapping his ass off, switching his flows every 10-20 seconds, and then come through with a solid hook. The blending of both worlds was what really set him apart from his peers imo.

I do not get the hype over Mission To The Loot. Back in 2017 everyone called it Batman and it wasn’t even one of the top 10-15 most anticipated snippets but all these new fans are fiending over it and it sounds good but not like amazing or groundbreaking.

Plenty of people are complaining about WOD production being repetitive (specifically Brandon Finessin) and making Uzi’s songs sound too similar. Those features are Perfect proof that that’s an issue if he keeps picking the same type of beats (this is just as much Uzi’s fault tho he is picking these beats). A lot of fans thought EA was mediocre and that Uzi isn’t putting his all into it anymore. Our thread has been pretty positive but even sentiment on the site is that Uzi fell off and isn’t making great music anymore.

I think a lot of the reason ppl miss “old uzi” is bc of the old producers. I miss dp, fki, charlie heat, dj plugg, maaly raw, don cannon, zaytoven, metro, etc
