Oblivion XDiscourse on this album has been annoying
anything that's even slightly left or different, people don't want to give it a chance at all and rush to s*** on it. Then turn around and complain when artists choose to keep doing the same thing over again (lil baby) and say they fell off.Not even saying u have to like it just cause it's different, I'm not even fully sold on this album myself, but at least give it a chance, it hasn't even been a day yet. And it's funny cause I can fs see people doing a wlr flip on this one
I really want to ask the fans who keep calling s*** mid exactly what they tryna hear or were expecting and I bet most canāt answer cause even they donāt know what they want

They canāt simply embrace an artist creativity with an open mind and leave the experience with a reasonable opinion. āI liked it.ā āI loved itā āI hated itā āitās not for meā
Instead thereās always some sort of rationalization that the artist is doing something āwrongā or breaking some sacred āruleā when it takes conservative listeners outside they comfort zone.
Itās an ego thing. No one wants to admit that they are conservative so they do all that s*** to save face subconsciously
