hope uzi soaks up the reception and s*** from this release and it puts the battery in his back to be more confident in the s*** he does from here on out
seems like he took the criticism around EA to heart and probably was partially the reason why he was nervous around releasing this

The special thing about this album is the dynamism. That's the whole point of it. Post Malone ain't putting this s*** out
This is like the album people thought X could make some day imo
I gave examples for everyone he bit from. it’s not pushing anything forward just because you decided to do what everyone else is doing except on 1 album.
But again you’re proving my point for me by mentioning artist like X.

ryuHEhhhhhh I can see how you reached those conclusions and I respect you for having a real opinion but I pretty much disagree on all points
I don’t think he’s copying Carti at all this sound is a whole ass Rage genre now and he’s part of the group of artist that layed the groundwork for it so he’s just being true to it and trying to give us his take on where it is now, definitely takes notes from his contemporaries such as Carti but his aesthetic and his vocal style is completely different than what Carti was doing on WLR imo
Also I feel like a lot of this is just the natural progression of what he’s done on previous projects like LIR2 and EA, just with the execution cranked up to 11 (charisma & delivery, production, mixing, etc all better than they ever been)
As far as him not saying anything I feel like that argument is kinda weak since you could say that about anybody in this lane. This is energy music. He’s saying what he feels in the moment nothing really more to say.
You entitled to your opinion this just my thoughts on your critiques
it’s fine to disagree but at least you understand where i’m coming from and not making it seem like i can’t have these gripes lol
