This can't be real brother. EA was my fav Uzi project but this s***s on EA for me. EA beats are so basic compared to this album. And Uzis lyrics are the worst they have ever been almost on EA
You really complaining about his rapping on here when EA is full of ''standing on my moneys'' and ''that p**** is sticky''
If you think his bars on here are even 50% as good as on EA, log off.
This album has 3-4 songs on it. The rest won't be heard of in a month. Those 3-4 will prlly be gone by then too. This underwhelming UZI.
Bruh Uzi can rap. Travis is great Carti is great. This aint that. This is even less effort.
I don't believe you lol. You can dislike something but there's no way you ''love'' uzi but then say he puts no effort in in his most experimental, bold, layered and diverse album so far.
Big red flag that you complain about his rapping performances on here while before he was mostly just playing off the beat like a freestyle (especially on EA) whereas on Pink Tape you got songs like Rehab, Mama I'm Sorry etc

You just listed 2 of the 4 good songs on this.

Nah you log off, cause you TROLLING and just exposing yourself
I'm one of EA's biggest fans on here everybody knows... but acting like Uzi reached some peak rapping on there is such a lie and you know that
his level of lyricism has pretty much always been the same
man idk what yall arent hearing on here lol.
S*** is pretty great all the way thru with a couple eh tracks that tbh have turned around for me. Could deff be shorter but i just been throwing this s*** on shuffle and finding something new to love w each track. Has grown over the last few days. Great vibes. Uzi tried some new stuff, some uzi sfuff youd expect. Production is great. Interesting melodies and flows. Some honest and open tracks.

You are a moron. I didn't say he reached his peak lyrically. I said he was ascending into supe om.
You just listed 2 of the 4 good songs on this.
see my problem doesnt lie with you not enjoying this. Everybody is allowed to have a different opinion and has different taste. But you are saying he doesn't put in the effort is just blatantly not true. The proof is in the pudding. Go listen again
Also name 10 hot bars from EA

Yeah im def done with trying to have a decent discussion once insults like ''moron'' are gonna be thrown around
Let me get back to enjoying this fun album you do you
uzi got some great verses on here not understanding the no effort argument lol
its trolling, gotta be. I love EA but he was pretty much on auto pilot there compared to this album
but the content is mostly the exact same s*** he’s been on since EA era
I wish he had the lyrical depth of someone who’s been in the game this long and rapping for about 10 years
Uzi just refuses to expand the type of perspective his music gives and that’s why his older fans have started to not connect to his music as much
dudes always been about vibe music.
He deff branched out a bit on some tracks here and gave some introspective and honest takes on his insecurities and s*** hes been thru too which personally i didnt expect

See this is a fair argument, but the thing is i'm not one of the older fans suddenly looking for insights i know we're never gonna get. I don't listen to Uzi for lyrics, i like the soundscape he creates and i think he flows better than almost anybody in the game and also has some of the best melodies
I can always spin King's Disease 3 again if i'm gonna look for some lyrics or bars

If thats your take EA didnt really have any staying power lmao
the instrumental on died and came back is sooooo good perhaps maybe even the best on the entire album but uzi’s delivery on that track doesn’t really do it for me unfortunately song is just ok
nah u trippin hard brotha
It's not bad but def the least memorable song on here for me by far. I mean try and throw a couple of other joints from the tracklist at me but i'm pretty sure i can argue why i'd enjoy them more than that track

See this is tripping to me
Hook is great
bridge coulda been corny but he pulled it off and didn't go overboard with it
instrumental incredible like you said
really wish he went on for a bit longer after the switch on crush em that transition was sooo hard
really wish he went on for a bit longer after the switch on crush em that transition was sooo hard
those extra layers of sounds when it switches up oh my god that s*** went so hard first time i heard it in the car i went ballistic
and those WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOs in the beginning gave me peak travis vibes
mix is soooo good on this album, so much going on but it never feels too overwhelming. All the sounds are clear
I'm just so happy that i can finally unapologetically say uzi delivered a personal classic for me. I know i will be playing this album for years to come

I don’t think wanting to hear a bit more evolution from Uzi is that bad of an expectation
Uzi dropped Luv Is Rage in 2015 and when comparing it to the Pink Tape Uzi still has a lot of talent and flows and rhyme schemes but it’s like they’re comfortable existing in a small space
maybe i just want Uzi to be someone that they are not
