Days come and gooooo
I can’t sit and be sastifed with pink tape man. Like can anyone not see this nigga lacks serious creative direction and just doesn’t have good ideas musically. I mean first half is just inspo from WLR. We got melodic songs but these songs are so boring compared to the melodic Uzi we love. Hell these “experimental” songs.. more like entry level, sounds smart to a dumb nigga, poor excution, type songs.
This my fav artist of the last 5 years and I feel like he just lost in the moment. Uzi don’t particularly have a “sound” either at this point too
This
Listened to this again in full yesterday and it was worse than I remember. Some of uzi worst verses, worst songs and terrible sequencing. Some highs but nothing im itching to go back to. Hope he finds his stride again because he doesn’t seem like he knows what he’s doing
Can't listen to the album without thinking of this guy. It's like the exact same noise and this guy is everywhere in India, from shorts to reels to even the TV.

the album is a different breed from his usual albums.
I myself love themed listening experiences, with shorter tracklists and a vision..
In that way EA is better (even though at the time EA felt bloated go figure)
with Pink Tape, it is more scattershot and definetly sequenced more like a playlist/tape than an album with a theme (even at that it succeeds cuz the theme is this zaney all over the place experimental vibe)
so with all that being said, they two diff type of albums..
Personally I like more stuff off of EA but for it's length and scope, Pink Tape did exactly what it was supposed to
now Uzi can give us a shorter more concise sound with LIR3
