It’s not anything special brother, he “writes” in a different way with what today we would just call punch ins and seems like he does 4-8 bar couplets or entire verses practiced without a mic. Big Sean does the same thing recently where he’ll do like the first few bars that come to him and nothing else until the next inspiration comes around. most these dudes don’t write anymore cause they probably so used to their style
