I’ll probably be revisiting those the most. Bells could be a grower. I like his voice and delivery for more of this than I expected, but the production and mixing continues to be a letdown. A common theme with these later Wayne albums is something improving and something declining and I’m tired of accepting the compromise, especially on a Carter album.

Even the songs that aint bad but just aight arent enough cause both he as the artist and me as the fan have been doing this for too long to praise mediocrity when theres so much quality in the collection. For me this applies to his past few projects in general. I’m tired of cherry picking for the playlist and I miss having a full, quality body of work from him. Its getting worrying that even the “gems” from this album dont shine like they used to.

Album wasn’t bad first listen although I feel like the album should be shorter, but unfortunately idk if it’s the beat selection or Wayne is just washed in general, his music has no replay value anymore :/
