I am no fan of Maroon 5 after their first 2 albums, but they made some very good pop rock in the 2000s.

Wayne is not someone that gets the best out of a feature or orchestrates them on what to do on his album. You’re not giving a weaker feature artist the same benefit of the doubt you would if you saw that name listed on like a Tyler album for example. I doubt Wayne was even in the room with any of these features besides Wyclef and his kids.

Besides all that, you still over-focusing on the features. Remove them and this album is still garbage

And that Tyler comparison actually hits the nail on the head too. Yeah yall would give Tyler more benefit with all of these choices, if he made this exact album the hate wouldn’t be the same. Because he’s “artsy” and “creative”. And yall don’t respect Wayne as an artist.

Most frustrating thing about this album, is Wayne’s voice is the best it’s sounded in years on the majority of this album. He actually sounds like 2008/2009 Wayne delivery wise at times.

Yeah and his flow is perfect for the entire thing too. Rhyme schemes and technical rapping all perfect, he doesn’t miss a beat for the whole hour plus run time. It is frustrating and too bad that you made up your mind before listening to it, you f***ing fraud
