To be fair, there are some revival tier tracks on here, lol.
Nope. Y’all would’ve hated Hot Revolver too. S*** yall would’ve hated on C3

worst hook i've heard in a long time oh my god it's so grating
worst hook i've heard in a long time oh my god it's so grating
eminem ass hook
If Tyler creator made Elephants with Lin Manuel and said “13. Peanuts 2 N Elephant. OMG WHEN LIN PLAYED THOSE CHORDS I MELTED. He gave me the best advice that day that changed my life. This song makes me feel unstoppable” it would be praised
this is an all time comment
I don’t think 2words realizes that around that time Maroon 5 was a very respected and acclaimed band
U2 is acclaimed too
I could be overhating because it was overplayed cus the rhythm guitar kinda moving me..
not their best song but they still had it imo
Wayne is not someone that gets the best out of a feature or orchestrates them on what to do on his album. You’re not giving a weaker feature artist the same benefit of the doubt you would if you saw that name listed on like a Tyler album for example. I doubt Wayne was even in the room with any of these features besides Wyclef and his kids.
Besides all that, you still over-focusing on the features. Remove them and this album is still garbage
You told on yourself so bad with this. Y’all only respect rappers if they are also “orchestrators”. Clowns
I really wanted to like this album, man.
worst hook i've heard in a long time oh my god it's so grating
He was obnoxious on Ems album and Snoop/Dres
I really wanted to like this album, man.
What do you like about lil Wayne?
I’d never heard of him before Thursday when I saw this album was dropping, but after listening to it I can safely say he’d be working at McDonald’s if 2Pac were still alive.
SHARKS AINT ALWAYS IN THE WAAAATERRRRRR
completely inconsistent with years of zoological research, mind you.
People decided it was trash before it was out is my point. And an album can’t come back from that
Y’all don’t get how important that impression is. Y’all went into it already trashing it. Yall decided it was Revival before listening. That means you weren’t giving it any benefit
And that Tyler comparison actually hits the nail on the head too. Yeah yall would give Tyler more benefit with all of these choices, if he made this exact album the hate wouldn’t be the same. Because he’s “artsy” and “creative”. And yall don’t respect Wayne as an artist.
Wayne is known for not being the guy that’s overseeing the executive production of his albums
He doesn’t get that benefit of the doubt because he’s never given us a reason to give it to him.
He’s a lyrical tactician, full stop. He goes into the studio looking to come up with the craziest punchlines and verses ever, and that’s what we love him for.
And you’re still wrong. One, barely anyone was even discussing this album before it dropped, so nobody was anticipating to hate it because they weren’t even thinking about it. And two, there are a few songs on here that I enjoy, so I did not go into it hoping to hate it.
There are songs that assault my eardrums and then there are a handful of songs that sound good to me. I also really love C5 so I was excited for this album
MGK, Jelly Roll, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jelly Roll, and Bono are names I should never see on the tracklist of any Lil Wanye project.
Revival is easily better than this album
both misunderstood classics that only hardcore fans of those artists can truly appreciate
Revival is easily better than this album
Idk about all that tbh
I feel like Revival might have higher highs but those lows are the lowest of the low
Banned from NO is almost good
There is sum missing with the beat and wayne rapping tho
Revival is easily better than this album
