Honestly I never thought C6 was coming out in December or January because he doesn’t have any buzz right now plus most of the Carter albums always drop in the summer & fall

C1- was more upbeat but grimey

C2- def more grimey and way more street and rap-centric

C3- was his polished, mainstream album that had lots of radioesque sounds but still rapping was impeccable

C4- was more of a high-budget blockbuster of an album, kinda like C3 on bad steroids lmao

C5- was introspective and moody and personal

Feel like VI will sound more of a victory lap than the rest

Wayne doesn't really need to build any buzz for a Carter album tbh. The name itself is the buzz he just gotta announce a date

the news outlets will pick it up off the Carter name alone,
all he has to do is do some interviews, drop a song or two or a good feature run (which he already is on)

For the first time in my life, I don’t want a Carter album. Of course when it drops I will listen to it, searching for those few verses that put a smile on my face, but Wayne is basically a super machine that churns out a lot of product but has no vision or direction.

I liked Collegrove 2. Still in for this. Don't think we getting this anytime soon though, next few months too crowded.
