I don’t even look at them as the same artist. I’m never getting that 12 song album of STREETRUNNER soul samples and his gritty high energy voice.
But the hook on this is song is undeniable. Very catchy. The verse is good for the first half before it becomes gibberish, but I am happy overall.

But the post-trukfit era from like 2014-2016 I really thought 07 Wayne was about to be revived

I don’t even look at them as the same artist. I’m never getting that 12 song album of STREETRUNNER soul samples and his gritty high energy voice.

I think d6 and nc2 were great. Cv is one of my favorite albums by him but Ik that was 2019
Funeral has some great songs but it's a data dump for free money I think idk the point of it
Most recent one was pretty bad but knowing Wayne I think it might be like a warmup or something

I don’t know if I’ve outgrown the sound or if his new s*** just doesn’t have the same quality to create that longevity.
Id suggest Open Letter off C5 if you’re looking for new introspective Wayne. IMO that’s a top 5 Wayne song in the last 10 years
