I used to work this overnight security job, and my hours were 10 PM-7 AM.
So I used to go out for an hour or sometimes two just riding on a golf cart. They told us no headphones (:hah:) but I always had them in.
Playing Pyramids in the middle of the night, in this golf cart, it hit different. I’ll forever have a deeper connection with this album. It’s one of the memories where it’s like you had to be there in my body and mind to know what I’m talking about. I hope y’all have stories like this too.
were you dating a f***ing psychopath
Short answer is possibly
both are 10/10s, CO is a straight masterpiece but the emotional connection i’ve had w/ blonde is what separates the two for me
Blonde is way better but we don't need that convo in here
S/O to Frank
Blonde is too focused on the past
Blonde is too focused on the past
Idk what that means bruh
The sound waves that Nights creates is too potent to ignore
YOOOOOOOOOOOO
I FORGOT ABOUT PINK MATTER
HAVEN'T HEARD THAT SONG IN YEARS
Amazing song. First verse is like a philosophical meditation, hook goes crazy, and then 3 stacks with a perfect feat
Glad we can all agree Frank’s discography in general is basically perfect
Sierra Leone is one of his least-discussed songs but from a production standpoint, I don't think music can get smoother. It is one of the finest displays of vocal and sonic layering in recent memory. It's a 1 of 1 in his discography - seriously, hear it back and the way he peels back the layers with switching up flows, introducing chord progressions and expanding storytelling is brilliant.
Absolutely phenomenal song
blonde exposed frank for his mediocrity, imo
Yup u need to be chained to a basement with no food or water for about 3 weeks
I don’t think it’s a better album then Blonde but I def think it’s an easier listen then Blonde.
His best album to this day.
