Imo the economic disruption aspect of the protests would've been felt more without COVID. But at the same time, mass protests and the bits of rioting, etc that are happening are like extra knife wounds to an economy already on the fritz.
more leverage in the sense that they can protest during the work week.

I thought that because of quarantine, people are now more comfortable to just go out there and protest, unlike regular times when they’re caught up in their day to day life and their own problems
