For the aforementioned, they never hid it and totally owned it but just didn't like constantly center their public images around it while never downplaying it either. It just came across as authentic confidence, whereas Lizzo's always seemed bizarrely insecure about her appearance to the point where it was kind of unnerving following her as a public figure. Something just felt uneasy.

She's also a talented musician
But she's always seemed genuinely a little too squeaky clean. I trust public figures who aren't trying to be the most polite, acceptable, household-name types. After the Epstein stuff and #MeToo, all too commonly do those types tend to be the worst kinds of people.

Growing up in the most segregated suburb in the United States as a minority, I'm telling you man, any time a woman was tall and not rail thin, especially if they weren't white, white boys would unrelentingly call these women fat and gross. There was an Egyptian girl at school who was a dime piece, but she was like 5'11" and curvy (not even fat or chubby she was a star athlete), and the white boys at school just mocked her every chance they could. They're savages.

Like Monique, Queen Latifah, Mia Amber Davis, etc, were all bigger black women who just embraced it and flaunted it but did so with like, real confidence, if that makes sense. Lizzo always seems to be overcompensating for something and deliberately sanding down all the edges to seem like she's happier and more whimsical than she actually is. Very manufactured and insincere public image, even by Hollywood standards. Kinda like Taylor Swift tbh.
