This and the new common/Pete rock album have the same vibe. Just super good, refreshing as f***, top quality late-career albums.
I’d love to know how this came together for Tip. Some beats sound like extensions of we got it from here era stuff, developing the sound on there. But then some sound like some whole other new style with some 80s/very early 90s rap influences that may have been crafted for LL specifically
