Honestly this don’t even feel dusty
Q-tips production on this sounds clean and even forward thinking at times
This s*** is 10x more futuristic sounding than the vast majority of these newer producers who go for that “spacey vibe” sound
I stg I’m not an old head lol, it’s just straight up

LL sounds so young on this s*** too
Crazy year for me in music
Casablanco
Eminem
This
Brat
Snoop soon
Kendrick diss tracks AND album ?
Future
Saturday Night Special is beat of the year imo, that s*** special, imagine Nas, Currensy, Freddie Gibbs on that….
The genre is cooked
How is a 56 year old this much better and more hungry sounding then any kid coming up rn
Don’t care if y’all call me an old head, Them melz type rappers are all trash
I’m admittedly a Yeat fan but I’m with you on this tbh
Post Modern is like the 80s but modernized that’s crazy
First listen this was a standout for me

The era of new MCs is over, we’re in “the last Jedi” type times. It’s up to all of us from previous generations to push it along.
We got it from here, thank u 4 your service.

Man I listened to illmatic this morning and all I could think about is where are the 19 - 20 years olds like that now?
Obviously most kids ain’t on that level at such an early age but damn… None of them even trying to be
I’m admittedly a Yeat fan but I’m with you on this tbh
I don’t even hate that type of s*** tbh. There’s a time and place for everything
There’s just zero focus on skill or creativity now. Nobody wants to push boundaries (and I mean actually push boundaries, Not find a lazy way to do something and act like it’s next level) Nobody wants to be the best at this s***, Nobody even wants to be a star and have music that holds weight decades from now
I haven't heard LL rap like this since the late 90s and the production is on point. This was a lot better than I was expecting. Thoroughly solid album
He legit sounds hungry
I didn't expect him to bar up on this one.
Thought he was gonna be on some keep it player type s*** but he did what needed to be done. He hasn't rapped like this since the 90s.
Only thing the album is missing, is a second verse from LL or maybe another feature on the shorter songs
Praise Him should’ve had another LL verse before Nas. Woulda loved Danny Brown on Huey In The Chair (makes sense with that Q-Tip connection), also think Tip himself should’ve had a verse on Basquiat Energy
And lowkey, Kanye on Post Modern
