when it comes to the ncis I’m the guy that invented that, when it comes to deep blue sea I was in that!
He frfr has a case. The game evolved but he stayed true to himself throughout, for better or for worse
Mama said knock you out first verse was one of the first verses I memorized word for word
The FORCE is the best veteran rap album of the last ten years besides Nas’s run

Facts it’s at least top 10. That was probably one of my personal favorite projects this year
I think his era deserves more respect I don’t like how we do our legends. It’s gon take him to die for jiggas to show him rightful respect
Literally created the term and was the blueprint for the rap superstar. One of the biggest, most successful, and longest running hip-hop festivals is literally named after one of his songs, and he has become one of the figureheads of the festival in general. Ten consecutive platinum certified albums. A career that started from 1984, and after his latest album that dropped this year, a career that is still going strong...
Yeah it's pretty fair for LL Cool J to refer to himself as the GOAT. It's also fair for him to think of himself as one of the most important rappers of all time.

It's weird to me. Rappers of the 90s and 00s have nothing but love for all the OGs who came before them. The disrespect towards older rappers really didn't start until Soulja Boi popped up, and it's mostly rappers who come from his tree who be on that corny s***.
First rapper to take steroids and actually make something out of it.
Melly melz took roids before him but still looked fluffy
I miss rap being cool like this. Good music for the fellas and the chicks that don't sound corny, got women R&B singers on the hook, and that you can play at the club. This track really timeless.

Nigga was pouring chocolate syrup on a b**** knees broad daylight in the middle of summer, and that was the flyest s*** ever back then. Who was gonna tell him otherwise?
A lot of what we see today can be traced back to him. He’s an icon and I’m not mad at him thinking that at all
