That's the point of the post. Its not some newfangled Concept, kids all over the world have had strange probably unhealthy obsessions with rough impoverished American neighborhoods through the lens of hip hop since the 90s. It's the theme of like every Vince staples video. There's no need to be moralistic about it, we all understand the absurdity.

You right, tbh I just hate to see it cause Im from Illinois and have family in Chicago really living that life. I've lost a cousin to gun violence, I can attest s*** is not a game. Seeing these people treat it like its a sport or entertainment irks me

Of course it's not a game lol. That's the irony! It's death, bullets, broken bodies, daily suffering, unimaginable tragedy. I get it.. the (mostly) children/teens in white America or Europe or Africa or wherever who see it as a distant game to be followed are just a ridiculous side phenomenon, more than they are the primary "thing" . I never really feel the urge to huff and puff at them, despite the optics being obviously bad. My anger is that the suffering continues
