I think a lot of ppl will switch up on this album. I couldn't see it at first but this is starting to feel more like another classic.

I'm surprised some people didn't brace for impact in the sound switch up following her singles. The stripped back acoustic, Beatles & Beach Boys sound could be heard miles away. I was expecting a little more versatility in production and you hear that sprinkled throughout the album on tracks like California, Fallen Fruit & Mood Rings but this could've seriously gone another level had they filled some of these pockets with some idiosyncrasies.

I just had a really memorable summer so that hook on Big Star is hitting different..

"But every perfect summer's gotta say goodnight
Now I watch you run through the amber light"

This is her best album by far. No idea why the perception is what it is. Mood Ring in particular is phenomenal.
