This is quite disappointing :(
Don't like it nearly as much as her first two. Honestly don't see myself listening to this beyond the next few months, if even that
One week classic for me
im so glad i didnt preorder this when the album was announced. what a disappointment imo
raining today so i can't listen to this
Tbh i don't really see it as a sunny album personally but i am listening rn on my break and just wandering in the park on a sunny day and the album hitting extra good.

Its overall reception seems to be rather polarizing—for better or worse.

The Financial Times rates albums now
"Album had great market volatility and might actually tempt bullish investors who could see it as an opportunity. That's why we gave Solar Power a 10" - FT review.
It has for a good while.
First time hearing it like why would they who reads the FT to check out album reviews

people really don’t like this album huh
i mean, it’s a step down from melodrama and jacks sound is getting a bit derivative to me but damn
Stoned at the Nail Salon is just a minute too long tbh. and comes too early in the tracklist

Mood Ring should've been the album opener too

I think Solar Power should've been the opener but yeah Mood Ring could've been pushed up and The Path down
I think the sequencing does throw things off a bit. but these are great songs
'member what you thought was grief before you got the call?
one of my favorite lines of the album. she loved that damn dog
