What would Kobe do. I’ll keep posting about the Lakers
These are my guys for the draft

We can get a nice young rotation player
    1) Gradey D*** SG/SF- could shine on Lakers. Sniper who could be a star
    2) Nick Smith PG- could be a steal. Had an injury during freshman season, but he was suppose to be a top 3 pick
    3) GG Jackson SF- was suppose to be the top prospect in 2024. He reclassified, but he started to ball out towards the end of the lake. Big time athlete, traits.
    4) Leonard Miller, Bilal Coulibaly- another big athletic forwards with big time potential
    5) Dereck Lively- a defensive stud.. be nice to match with Joker

    1) re-sign rui & AR
    2) sign brook Lopez
    3) sign cp0 and re-sign dlo
    4) look for good value for Beasley + bamba + 17

    Or

4b) draft a player with the 17th pick

    Run it back !

We need to make sure we have wing defenders for the Suns, and big Bodies for the Joker…. We need more size at center and another big defensive wing. Need to keep Rui, Vandy and Bamba

"Given Russell’s inconsistent playoff performance and the lack of league-wide interest in him, the Lakers should have the upper-hand in contract negotiations

One framework the Lakers have discussed internally, according to multiple team sources not authorized to speak publicly, is signing Russell to a front-loaded two-year deal – either with an option in the second year or a straight two-year contract – that both gives him the salary he wants and keeps him on the same timeline as James (player option in 2024) and Davis (has an early termination option in 2024 and is eligible for a contract extension in August)."

I love the way we draft. I wouldn’t be mad if we draft 3 players on Thursday. That can be players 13-15 and prolly be really good depth and talented. Keep both picks and buy a pick, I think Hornets have like 5 2nd rounders. We bought a pick for ultra talented Max Christie

Ben Sheppard is a guy to watch out for.

He had a really good combine and is now projected to go in the first round.

He's a 6'6 wing who is a good passer and a really good shooter. Decent on defense too.

He has a workout with the Lakers today.

I'll be happy if we trade down and get both Maxwell Lewis and Ben Sheppard. Need to at least draft one of them.

I feel like we will make a trade with the Nets on draft day.

They have two guys that we can get: Dorian Finney Smith and Royce O Neal. Both are 3 and D guys that can help us.

Nets also have two draft picks (21 and 22) and want to move up. We can just give them Malik Beasley + our 17th pick for Dorian Finney Smith or Royce O Neal and their picks.

It makes sense for both teams.

Meh… keep the pick at 17 and draft Nick Smith… then throw a bag for a hornets 2nd rounder. Get 2 2nd round prospects with the 17th pick. No trade down

He has a 36m player option. The deadline for him to opt out is tomorrow. Good chance he takes the money and opts in.

Even if he opts out, he's most likely re-signing on a long-term deal with the Wizards.
