Ye24Could care less how many points he scores. As long as he sets good screens, spreads the floor, & moves the ball on offense I’m happy. Any defense he can still provide at this age is an added bonus.
If he’s just completely useless Montrezl can come and play 30 minutes so it’s all good
Honestly would like to see him get more run with the bench, at least he can be another playmaker with them

scurryGasol hasn't gotten the opportunity to make plays like in the preseason which is going to happen with two other ball dominant playmakers on the court. In the preseason game he was on the court with mostly bench players and he was the best option to run plays through
But the spacing he provides alone is insane. Looking at a wide open paint for Dennis, AD, and Bron is so nice and so different from last year.
He's a brick wall on screens and when he's set in the paint. But if he's guarding just a few feet outside the paint it's game over lol
wish more people would watch the ins and outs of the game like this!
Dec 26, 2020McGee was overrated as hell, basically 4 on 5 on offense. He was good for a couple lobs and a block a game. No spacing, skinny so couldn’t use his size. Always was a space cadet too.low key big accomplishment to win with him as a starting center. Gasol is a major upgrade on offense, and probably a wash with defense. I kinda would take Gasol on defense too, even if his pick abs roll defense isn’t the same.

Yeah my biggest issues so far have been him on the defensive end, but yeah guy is old and was never really quick on his feet to begin with lol
Regardless, the positives he can still provide still outweight whatever the f*** it is we'd get from McGee. I'd be lying if I said I don't miss Dwight even just a little bit tho
