This would of been cool if they used an album from 2016 and not 2015

Drake constantly dropping has changed a few things. I’m fairly confident that him dropping Scary Hours right after FATD got Travis working overtime to keep up this year. Seems like he’s about to drop again. Plus Carti with these consistent drops. I feel like Drake dropping over and over pushes these other guys to get to work. The work ethic is admirable and definitely forces the competition to stay working.

Let's thank Wayne, Gucci Mane, Lil B, and Currensy for paving the way.

But, on a serious note, I think it's cool that Drake gets to feed his fans a lot. Ya'll are lucky in that regard.

However, FATD, CLB, and DLDT are kinda bloated albums that aren't interesting to me albeit they have some good songs. HNVM sounded decent and unique but rushed (vocally) and Her Loss is Drake's best project this decade but it's just a cool sounding melodic Trap album that pushed zero boundaries other than making 21 more popular.

If Drake continues to drop albums that just sound bloated and unambitious, it will actually do more damage to his career than someone who takes their time.

Drake isn't really pushing any musical boundaries this decade though. Hell, none of the Big 3 are if we're keeping it 100.

Drake hasn’t pushed the game forward musically in years.

Arguably since 2015 or even 2013.
