Just realized this is the first album since Lasers (i think?) that won't have an intro. Wonder if he's planning to add something at the beginning of Samurai that's different from the single version

Agree on hooks especially because could get so many great women vocalist. Haven't heard snippets yet but not surprised the songs we got sound the most off

why do male rap artist do hooks themselves when they have worked with some of the greatest women hook singers of all time. Ye, Lupe do this or work with random people. I am guessing it has something to do with when you are indie or a lot of negotiations to get women to sing hooks recently

Yea and Lupe voice isn’t the most easy on the ears when he tries to harmonize or do different things with it sometimes.

It can be hit or miss.

I feel same even about Drake even if the artist can sing its about I need for song structure to have various voices and often perspectives leads to better songs

I especially on an album where you are arguably trying to prove to be a top lyricist
