Yea this is a solid album but it's kinda been my issue with Lupe is that the lyrics are practically indecipherable at points.

It's was dope with T&Y but every album after this being like that is disappointing, because it seems like he has become even more wordy over the years

I agree. I feel like he's gotten way too lyrically pretentious at this point... But he's indie now and fully doing what he wants. I can't be mad.

I feel like he needs the progressive and experimental production like on T&Y and WAVE to compliment the abstract lyricism atp, that’s my only gripe with Samurai
