S*** was mid af. M Night has a way of coming up wit great ideas but executing them horribly
Plus they dropped the whole trapped at a concert premise midway through
This was solid. Something felt a little off during the bulk of the movie but then I found out why. Josh killed it. I think this is better than Knock at the Cabin for sure. Some of the staging in terms of things like the camera not being with the singer unless the characters were near was cool.
It was cool. I’ll probably stream it in a couple of years

was you expecting the whole trapped at the concert premise to last longer or no?

I did
I felt like the concert was moving too quickly. I was like “damn this movie is short as f\*\*\*.” I didn’t hate the fact that it left the concert, but it felt a little too drawn out. Like we just drop the singer and the wife becomes the final girl. I think the scenes were good at the end on their own but I think it would’ve been better if the singer was the one to take him down. Even then the whole IG Live scene felt a little corny.

Sounds like modern a shyamalan flick
watching the trailer I knew it’d be the best 2.5-3 stars on letterboxd
Lmao these niggas ain’t tryna lift that embargo the movie is out now bruh
Officially lifted
Officially lifted
Yeah I expected that lol
Officially lifted
Can't say I'm shocked
First half of this was laughably bad, some truly baffling choices being made scene after scene
Second half is a lot better but the ending is a little flat to really justify sitting through that first half

Yeah I was shocked when the concert ended and there was still almost an hour left
If it’s ever revealed that M. Night is not, in fact, the world’s best father, I might have to just end it all
Is this actually bad, or bad in the way that Old was “bad”, where it’s stupid as f*** but still a pretty fun watch?
