I was 24 when I did my first watch. What they were going for just doesn’t make for an interesting watch.

Yeah it's not for everybody, they use Don Draper's complex personality and life as a guide through the rapidly changing times of the 60s. You either f*** with that slow burn and character development or you don't. But besides that, it's brilliantly written and shot in amazing set design.

I feel like if his character and the plot was actually complex I would have enjoyed the show.
