@deepsleep yo I just finished s5 great season but what happened to Don in that last scene by the bar the cliffhanger was a nice touch
Megan really made this season enjoyable, happy Don is actually not bad.
Gonna start 6 soon also judging from what you said abt the dark times ahead. I see Don's convo with Lane's wife as possible catalyst to that, also the hallucinations are getting intense.

that last secene at the bar is one of my favorite scenes of the whole show
the way they shot it , when don walks from megans set to the bar
"are you alone?" ....
season 6 is def a lot different in tone and more "colorful" as they move closer and closer to the 70's but yea don's only getting darker lol

That was peak Mad Men tbh the overall theme and character development was squeezed into that whole sequence so eloquently
Hahaha I just remembered the final shots with Roger too after his second LSD experience. Mans wild😂called for Don's mother-in-law at his house wtf
Pete and his mistress and then the fight on the train. Now the guy got what he wanted I know he's clumsy ass will be plotting something in that new apartment.

"I am an officer of the New Haven Line"
"Well, i'm president of the howdy doody circus army"
Also
-"I talked to Ted Chaough and he said, "Every time Don Draper looks in his rearview mirror, he sees me."
-"Whats your point?"
-"My point is, do you have a response?"
-"On the record? I've never heard of him."

Second quote is similar to the “I never think about you”
roger makin moves on dons wife
I forgot about that
It's crazy how there is no limit to how strong of a relationship you can have with someone and still repeatedly f*** their wives in this show.
There's no way they were actually that filthy back then bruh cmon??
