is it just me or is the mixing kinda weird with the drums really loud and highs kinda piercing?

that said really fell in love with this in context of the new Flylo FM mix, also loved Tierra Whack "reporting in" talking s*** over it lol. Great tune, very hype for the album

yeah the cleanness generally is weird (but cool), but I just relistened and the drums are definitely loud. Someone on reddit compared it with early DJ Shadow which I can get behind, but still I legit can't listen to it too loudly because the snare is hurting my ears

btw is anyone else kinda getting Samurai Champloo/Nujabes vibes from this? Just listened to the Departure soundtrack earlier today and had to think of that quite a bit
