Seems like they been killing these shows. Album flopped but tour wise they always do great
Majid background vocals on Open is perfect. I really want to hear this song live. Top 5 this year.
I love this album, went to see them live in November, but it really feels like this album came and went
No real promo
No Stars Align video (which is crazy)
Such a shame

It did, cus MJ irrelevant. And I say this as a fan.
They gotta do more
The album still great months later.
It’s summertime here and it feels amazing to drive after work with the rooftop open to Been Through That.
Music that just makes you feel good, that’s all it takes.
This two deserve so much better then OVO indie artists.

This might be their last album for a minute

Well they only have 3 lol (and 1 EP), and self-titled and Wildest Dreams are only 0.1 point difference in score.
But me personally I can't get into this one. Been playing Sway a lot tho

They really waited 2 months to review this
Pitchfork loses all credibility just for doing this two months later.
Biggest hack site for music journalism and their content has no impact on the culture.
Literally their whole review is “it’s flawless sonically but it’s all synth pop with no feeling” like Sweet and Forget About The Party ain’t on there.
But yet they’ll find some hidden deeper meaning in these current generation rappers where all their bars consist about trapping and tiktok. FOH.

I think it's important to remember that one writer composes the review, while the score is an aggregation of many. So the words are just how "Brady" feels about it lol
I also don't see what's wrong with reviewing it later on. I swear I see arguments all the time on here about reviews coming out the day/week of and how the music isn't able to sink in or whatever other reasons why that people give.
Can't speak on your last sentence tho
