The second amendment is for protection against government tyranny, not protection against home invaders though it does apply intuitively

    How’s that?

Sandia national laboratories is a govt military research base in my home state. On their f***ing Wikipedia page they have a self-guided homing bullet listed as something developed almost a decade ago that only becomes more accurate and faster from thousands of yards away. Just think about what is not classified, what is not posted on WIKIPEDIA.

We got drones the size of jets and drones the size of hummingbirds. A semi auto rifle ain't got s*** on the truly staggering scope of the military budget and all that it has produced.

Do you know who the government is? You think Congress is trained to operate a UAV?

You think members of the military are going to just comply to a tyrannical government? The military is less than 5% of the entire US population. There are more civilians armed and better trained than active duty military which even less are in conbat roles

It’s not the responsibility of a single industry to carry a state’s economy on its back. Governor and top economic officials should resign if this is their plan or lack of plan rather.

Why don’t they tax all corporations conducting business in their state at 22% Are they scared they will outsource to another country if they did? Why aren’t they worried about growers and shops turning to the black market by that logic? I thought this was an essential business now

You assume every member of the military will agree to tyranny against 300+ million citizens?

Who will operate the unmanned weaponry?

The #1 reason for legalizing weed for these states is for tax revenue

As a Canadian, it’s absolutely wild to me that there are parts of the US where you can own an assault rifle, yet do time for weed.

The Canadian experience for me with weed was one I never thought I would experience and it made me sad to come back to a place where it isn’t legal. No reason people should be in jail for this plant
