this s*** was so ridiculous in the best way from the corny ass intro that felt like it was out of a b movie in the 80's to the over the top score that was both awesome and absurd

the plot is insane and the twist is just as wild as people are saying this is

im definitely thinking this'll be a film you'll love or hate but i had an absolute blast. just completely ridiculous, original and fun

this was pretty good

Kinda love that we’re getting mainstream B Movies, this movie is wild but I grew up loving those weird as hell 80s horror movies that had funny moments like in this

Also think all the negatives going in about this (certain critics saying this was awful, test screenings going badly, last min embargo drop) really only made this movie more enjoyable by the end. I feel like the tone of the movie is set right from the start

The impression I get is this is a wild gory Italian style 80’s horror flick with no pretense of saying anything important. That sounds like a breath of fresh air in a sea of self important horror attempting meaningful social commentary which often times comes across painfully unsubtle and lacking in nuance.

It's a big goofy mess but it works. I didn't f*** with the Conjuring or Insidious at all so I had no expectations but this was way more fun than those movies.
