People gonna give you heat but I agree
Like going into the woods and shooting a bear after it kills a hiker
There's nothing wrong on an individual level with the animal they are predators and humans become prey in their environment
In a life or death situation, there's no way I would let a bear kill me.
Go take a bite outta your chicken sandwich while you cry about this shark getting bodied
rip them

Very graphic ? The f*** no it’s not
I didn't know what people can and cannot tolerate. So I thought the warning was appropriate.

People instinctually don't want to live near predatory animals in general, much less individual ones that have actually killed people. It's a big problem for wildlife conservation efforts, for example people in rural areas who have animals are always against the reintroduction of wolves, for understandable reasons.
When population density was lower, human land use was less intensive, and our technological advantage was not as large, this wasn't a problem for animals on a population level and only on the individual level, but in the past couple hundred years it has been one of the contributors to the precipitous decline in populations of these predators: lions, tigers, bears, wolves, take your pick, they've all been affected.

“There’s no possibility a Greenland shark could predate a live adult white bear unless it was injured or seriously ill,” said Jeffrey Gallant, co-director of a Canadian-based Greenland shark education and research group.

I'll trust Jeffrey on this, I read a bit more and they only attack when the animals are sleep
There was a video circulating of a guy getting bitten in half by a shark here in Aus recently. It was way more gruesome than this, his torso washed up on the beach and everything. It was filmed from further away though so you couldn't hear him screaming

Greenland Sharks are scavengers, it says the bear was likely dead already when it ate it
