Highly doubt everyone has a substantial role in this. I’d doubt they even have justice gang level roles in this

I think the teaser should be a brainiac reveal, a teaser that makes him terrifying

honestly a short 30 second teaser of brainiac talking and barely 1 second clips of characters fading into black right into the next character would be perfect

Having too many superhero characters in Superman was one of the worst parts of that film. I worry they will fall into the same trap here again and make the film seem unnecessarily crowded.

Ehh never really got this criticism of Superman. The justice gang were barely in the movie and the moments they were in, served the purpose of the narrative and one of the themes of the movie

I think it still feels overstuffed. To me that doesn’t mean Superman literally isn’t on screen enough. It means the movie is juggling way too much s*** at once. Lex, Lois, Justice Gang, Krypto, pocket universe, political stuff, Daily Planet, kaiju, his parents, public opinion etc. He can be in 70% of the movie and it can still feel like the movie barely gets to breathe with him. Also, there's not enough Clarke.

I disagree and all these elements are overall connected together for the most part. But I think saying the movie has a lot of plot points is more valid than saying the movie was crowded because the inclusion of the JG

Why does this seem to be a common criticism for only comic book movies?

Ensemble casts are a regular thing in film, but the only time I ever hear people complaining about a movie being too crowded or not spending too much time with the main character is for comic book films
