Crazy hot take but I'd take Weghorst on a permanent
the guy is terrible but he works his ass off and has been helpful closing out games. Wouldn't mind him as a third choice option situationally

Yeah same if he’s down to be third choice. Martial will be injured 60% of the season so really he’s like third choice 40% of time and second choice 60% of time.
But real striker still needed badly.

Maybe for squad morale bc they seem to like him and as depth. I don't actually want him to play though, work rate only does so much when you're not a gifted footballer.

I like guys that put in 110% in training regardless of play time. Seems like he really loves being at the club and doesn't take it for granted at all... love players like that. Felt like Fergie always had rotational guys that could come in and put a shift in regardless of the situation even if they lacked the actual talent

he's not good enough but I think he's been helpful especially in the press late in games. Just a useful guy to have in the squad imo
