On the gk question I don’t think we even need to spend 70 mil on that Costa guy. There are plenty of options that would cost around 25 mil that can battle it out with him for the first spot. Costa seems to have floppy hands as well, so rather wait till there is a real talent available and just do with a cheaper keeper for now since we’re going to need a number 2 anyway.

Easier said than done but I'd rather get the keeper of the future now rather than have a transitional season with a keeper à la 2017 Bravo or 2018 Karius when this (or last realistically) should have been the season when United were identifying their new guy. I'm also worried that if they get a transitional guy he's gonna be okay but great in comparison to De Gea and we're trapped in another cycle with another guy who's still not good enough
