  • lmao so you’re telling me that haaland s*** yesterday was a penalty and this one on gakpo isn’t?

woulda been a soft one and gakpo tried to sell it way too obviously so normally i wouldn’t call for it to be awarded but after yesterday…. cmon this was way more of a penalty then whatever that s*** was in city’s favour…. what even is the f***ing metric?

    You think?

I feel like in terms of the title race it was more interesting when it was you lot vs City, but maybe that’s bc City have all but won it this year already.

Neutral games are more interesting I’d agree though, like I’d never usually care to watch relegation teams but I like watching Luton and hope they stay up.

i meant it more in general, not just PL…. can’t say that i would feel less passionate watching football at all

but yea i feel like PL this year has been quite entertaining too for the most part, especially agree with what you said about some of the neutral games….. i watch way more of those than i ever did, most of that s*** wouldn’t excite me at all a few years ago tbh

it depends on who wins the FA cup.

if city wins it, europa league will go to 5th and 6th and conference to 7th since they already have qualified for european football.
if united wins it, europa league goes to 5th and united qualifies through winning the FA cup with conference going to the 6th spot

  • Oh yeah nvm you changed it

nah it’s just often used as an excuse to deflect from the actual problem (which is often ppl themselves).

It’s like saying ETH can’t do anything about this worst ever United team because we have the Glazers in charge. Sure the Glazers are a problem, but that doesn’t deflect from the fact that ETH is a s*** manager.

But you’re obviously familiar with this type of excuse deflection rhetoric so idk what I can tell you

    I don't deal with details.

Focus on the bigger picture and what remains.

I don't know why people are so hurt when you point out the obvious systemic flaws.

People still get upset if you point out colonial systemic issues when most of the third world still suffers from it.

Same for companies, same for football clubs. The Glazers are responsible for most mishaps and the manager gets to clean their s*** up and be dunked on it for it. Get real.

Nobody gets upset when you point out s*** fam, everybody is doing it. Pointing to other people is becoming the norm in this world, everybody from the left to the right is doing it and im getting quite sick of it.

But this a football thread and not one on world views so this the last post imma make about it.
