I always wonder if the Saudi league was that easy why did benzema & co come nowhere near his numbers
hard to tell I sometimes wonder too
but if iām not mistaken benzemaās been barely playing for quite a large part of the season, I think heās beefing with the manager or something and wants to leave elsewhere
so itās difficult to compare with benzemaās case but for example Mitro came second after ronaldo and has scored 28 in 28 games which isnāt that far away from cristianoās numbers tbf
all respect to mitro though, heās a lethal striker and I think he would still be scoring at least 15+ goals a season in PL had he stayed at Fulham
but besides these two and benzema i donāt think anyone in saudi was really expected to pull off cristianoās numbers, maybe manĆ© but since heās in the same team with ronaldo itās a weird one to judgeā¦. all in all i still think 35 goals from 31 games is a respectable effort and output from cristiano even though obviously the saudi league is laughableā¦.
I guess weāll have to see if itās still enough to compete in Europe on a different level but I do think class is permanent when it comes to players like cristianoā¦. as long as he leaves his antics out of this i think he should be good.. i just really hope he leaves his recent saudi antics and bs away from this tournament and that playing on this level with the teammates he got in the NT and in front of amazing crowds will somehow re-ignite that spark in him even if itās just for a few matches
cancelo still starts all day, thatās a lock for martinez imo even though heās ass these days
either over dalot with mendes on the left side or itās cancelo on the left and dalot on the right
and i think these days antonio silva starts over pepe, crazy how that guy is 41 and still got it thoughā¦. some knockout matches his experience could be greatly appreciated but i think silva or even inacio got it for the group stages at the very least, i do think silva already got the composure and will play the whole tournament tho
heavy agree on the midfield and the front thoughā¦. i think this this will end up similar to way they set up too, just ronaldo instead of jota probably
it'll be a fun euros, Germany has good stadiums for atmosphere
Weāre getting to a point where Ten Hag may have to find some shame, make the decision for INEOS and just walk away. Still undecided after 10 days is wild, regardless of outcome it should be taken as disrespect.
They probably think they donāt have to say anything, which technically they donātā¦he still has a year left on his deal just carry on as normal. Then come mid season (if we get that far) either he has earned a new deal or he gets the sack
If they make a statement I feel they have to either back him which means a new contract or sack him
Just sell Rashford Sancho and Casemiro and problem solved
https://twitter.com/ManUnitedZone_/status/1797967743800742035Lindelof and Dalot too that can fund his weekly bonus
Canāt believe iām saying this, but not even the Glazers wouldāve dragged it this long
Have a feeling ten Hag is getting sacked but they need a replacement in first. Why else would it take this long
Seeing a lot (!!) of talk online today's the day ETH goes
AFAIK, the "he's getting sacked on Wednesday" thing originated from someone DM'ing a Ten Hag fan account on Twitter last week. Then, randomly, someone tweeted out yesterday "I wouldn't answer the phone tomorrow if I was Ten Hag" the Ten Hag fan account then brought attention to that tweet (which has since been deleted) by posting the screenshot of the DM and that's what got the ball rolling.
Then he posted more DM's that he got yesterday from the same guy:
tl;dr: nobody knows s*** imo.
Theyāre taking way too long about this ten hag getting sacked business, just keep him at this rate.
We need to be offloading Rashford and Casemiro ASAP before Olise is at Chelsea.

England need to get knocked out of the Euros is why it's taking so long
Idk why they just let him stay for now. Tuchel and Southgate aināt going nowhere, nobody wants those wasteman. Just sack ETH after the first inevitable 4-1 loss against Wolves or something
Apparently they want to extend Evans contract
makes sense to me, him and Heaton. Likeable lads, old heads with experience that wil cost pennies to keep around
Evans was our best cb this season, not sure if Martinez will stay fit, plus the fact we need to sign two cb as it is, aslong as he is last choice at best, I donāt see why not
People expecting us to go out and build a new team in one window like this is fifa
He's been class
Yeah as a 4th choice 36 year old heās been decent, but I donāt think weāve played one good game in which he was starting. Look at the massive difference Varane Martinez made in that final, thatās the difference between Maguire Evans Lindelof and actually good defenders.
Weāre never getting back to the top if we have players like Evans playing 20 games a season. But you guys seem alright with that.

He's not meant to play 20 games a season. He wasn't signed to play 20 games a season.

Or actually do it for once?? The likes of City Arsenal Liverpool Chelsea have no problem getting rid of their deadwood, but apparently we think weāre playing FIFA career mode when we want to get rid of McTominay Lindelof Maguire Eriksen Antony and Evans.
Only at United you have to have at least 3 mid seasons before you can get sold

And what if our centrebacks get prolonged injuries again??? There is a legitimate chance he has to play 20 games next season again with injury prone Martinez. And with him staying it gives us even less incentive for us to sign another centreback.
This argument is so incredibly dense.

It's June 5th Marble, we all know they are going to sign a centre back, possibly two.
Iām onna rant now, but weāll end up signing a centreback a back up striker and a midfielder this summer and some of yall will be okay with it. Because hey it isnāt FIFA career mode! Plus we kept all these amazing back up options w the likes of Evans Amrabat Eriksen and McTominay!
Iāve come to the sad realisation that the LUHG folk were kinda right, our fans have very little standards
