AWB terrible. Amass not good enough. Midfield wide open. Sancho has no striker instinct. Mount is good at pressing less good with the ball unfortunately. Rashford looks sharp, but not clinical. Onana floppy hands back at it too. Makes me nervous watching can’t imagine Evan’s and lindelof knowing floppy bird is ‘backing’ them up.

So first real test and yeah it looks the same way the season ended.

It’s all in the midfield as well for me.

Lisandro and Shaw are best in class in their positions so the defence will be massively improved.

Rashford looks sharper and has a proven track record of 20+ G/As when he’s actually on it. Garnacho and Hojlund are exciting young players with another season of experience under their belt. Zirkzee will offer similar traits to fully fit Martial. The manager can finally no longer ignore Amad, who I think has the most potential in our attack anyway.

We desperately need to get rid of McTominay, Eriksen, and Casemiro all of whom just are not good enough for a top 4 midfield.

Yeah I feel you, we have no one to put next to Mainoo that isn’t championship quality, has to be our first priority. Although I also think another Centreback is very important since Lindelof and Evans are dogshit as well and knowing our history of injuries they’re guaranteed to be playing quite a substantial amount of games.

Dude his distribution isn’t even good. I literally don’t know what he does better than de gea. Some nerd is gonna throw some stat at me, but I watched every United game the last fe years.

They make the same number of mistakes, and their passing is the same level of s***. Onana just holds onto it 5 minutes longer.

Looked promising when they were moving fast at the start of the summer but now, it’s not looking good brev.

I’m ngl we were playing some very decent football in the first 35 minutes that I watched. It’s just when you have players like Casemiro and AWB who can’t play a pass over 5 yards, that it literally does not matter what your tactics are. Add that you got Jaded Sancho as your striker, floppy hands Onana in goal, expert air marker Lindelof and grandpa Evans in the back and it isn’t that surprising we’re not looking good.

Nah Onana is definitely a lot more comfortable on the ball than De Gea, it’s just that the guy legitimately has some of the weakest wrists I’ve ever seen on a goalkeeper, this man cant hold a ball in his hands if his life depended on it
