this is not an altIt’s lowkey baffling to me how fast ETH let go off his Ajax playing out of the back style after that 4-0 at Brentford (rightfully so), but refuses to give up on this counter press open midfield transitional ‘setup’ after it has been f***ing horrible and clearly not working for over a year now.
Like just try something else man, 3 at the back, 4-4-2, anything
this and his interviews, are why he is the 2nd worst manager we've had imo. tactically, and style of play, is atrocious.
even in the first year, there was no style. we play dogs hit football then have to listen to him lie about how good we're playing after every match.
so sick of him, hope this is the last international break he's still here.

Oct 13, 2024this is not an altI doubt the fans are having much say in whether ETH is staying or not at this point. I think it’s more the ppl in charge that lower/heightens the fans standards than vice versa. These guys INEOS brought in are all very experienced in PL football so they should know what they’re doing, so I have no idea wtf is happening rn and why he isn’t sacked yet.
But I feel like / hope these guys are working hard behind the scenes and have just stepped up their security / leak prevention. They sat down for an 8 hour meeting this week and we have yet to hear a single thing about it leak to the media, I feel like the media is just not in the loop rn and that’s why we’re not hearing anything atm.

Definitely worth a look as a 4th choice midfielder type
His press resistant and cute passing is always a plus in a side. He’s a total defensive nonentity with his size though so he would pretty much be a like for like eriksen replacement.
I think we have a real significant chance to fix our midfield this summer — we let McTominay go last season and will move on Eriksen and Casemiro (and maybe an outside chance with Fernandes…?)
We should be looking to get a few more mobile midfielders who are good at passing the ball around in there to supplement
