He more united than any of these rat we have on the team

Okay sure. He came from the academy and says he loves the club. But should any of that matter when he isnā€™t the man for the job (consistently scoring goals)?

    Who

Kyle Walker the first player I thought of

Who is constantly scoring on this team

His leftback partner been out for 2 years straight

  • Look up rashford stats with shaw playing with him compared to a bunch of nobody we bring in the last 4 season

Who is in this team though?

Why is Rashford beaten with this stick when heā€™s done more for the club than anybody since he came through the academy?

  • I understand criticising Rashford but the way people talk about him youā€™d think heā€™s never done anything for us, itā€™s loud and wrong, and weird as hell.

People let this toxic, racist fan base convince you that our best academy product since the class of ā€˜92 is the big issue here, and itā€™d be sad if it wasnā€™t so stupid.

It isn't at all strange to question that a player, one who has been pushed as the face of the club for more than half a decade, and presided over a few of the worst United sides in almost 40 years may represent a problem beyond just subpar play.

I don't think he's fully alone in that, but I don't believe we can truly move on as a club until he (and a few others) are gone.

Attitude in and out the pitch speaks volumes. Sure he has the occasional purple patch which is better than most United players. But i think excusing those patches with whatever mediocrity comes in between has been a fundamental flaw in the way this new United build their team foundation

Yeah I did say that he deserves criticism but I think a lot of the conversation around him goes beyond that and I think thatā€™s very obvious.

Think it needs to be said that heā€™s being scapegoated for a mediocre squad and Iā€™d genuinely get rid of all of our attackers bar Amad and Bruno before him.

I wouldnā€™t be surprised if he goes to a different club, shows his quality, and the same people who wanted him out so bad start talking about how the club let him down and how we shouldnā€™t have let him go.

He definitely will tear it up, his level is that of a smaller club in a s***tier league. Ligue 1 is perfect for him. Just cause he bags 20 goals there doesnā€™t mean heā€™s good enough for England or United.

  • Canā€™t wait for the game tomorrow

Yep shouldā€™ve got rid after he kept ten hag in a job for more than a year because he had a good 6 week spell

Was so shortsighted to think that was going to continue. Didnt take long for the Belfast piss ups etc

    Preach

Itā€™s like claiming mctominay was suddenly too good for us because he can get a goal or two in a league that is so s*** you can produce Joshua Zirkzee highlights

It has been in the best interests for everyone involved for Rashford to move on for about 12-18 months now, really. A toxic environment for the club, the player, and the fans.

Itā€™s a monumental shame how itā€™s ended ā€” in another life Rashford should have gone down as a top 3 all time scorer and a top 10 all time caps player.

Whilst he clearly has a PR posse who attempt to spin an image; I think Rashford was definitely treated unfairly by the media and some of the attacks were definitely personal/targeted (you canā€™t help but feel race plays a considerable part when you compare some of the stories/treatment vs his contemporaries).

When the dust finally settles; people will look back objectively we will view him as a top level youth talent who scored in every debut, ended up with a few major trophies, and ended up relatively high up the all time scorer list.

EDIT: one aside I will say though ā€” his diehard fans online are so f***ing annoying.

I think so right to save fixture congestion

Rashford should have been sold off 4 years ago. But this club has always been so negligent with selling in favour of romanticism, instead.

They even held on to Dean Henderson way past his peak value.

watching Milan game - are there any good keepers left? even onana / de gea dont make mistakes like this. I swear every keeper is just a ball playing first type of keeper, and make terrible mistakes constantly like fundamentals. is courtois the only good keeper in the world rn?

    some more thoughts:
reinjders is like a bruno-lite. idk if he really moves the needle for us. out.
leao is almost the exact same type of player as rashford lol we need to do a dna test. imagine if one was left footed so you can play them together. terrorism.
Theo is good on the ball lots of skill, but doesnt like to defend - imo not the ideal signing for us
pulisic has perfectly found his level - rashford needs this

overall, serie a intensity is so low compared to england, kinda tough to watch this. its like in slow motion

  • Garnacho starts, Amad on bench

  • Really need us to make arsenal go trophyless for another season

  • Horrific start. Will make it even funnier when we win

  • Bayindir is so ass man
