Something else that’s also undoubtedly hurting Amorim is that his big bollocks boss decisions have looked really bad.

Ten Hag got rid of Ronaldo and Ronaldo FC s***ted on him sure, but Ronaldo sorta faded into obscurity in Saudi, whereas United went on a great run of form.

I was part of the camp that said Rashford needed to go, but with him balling out at another Premier League club, while we continue to look like s***, arguably worse than ever, with the deadest attack in the league… it’s hard to sit here and defend the decision or tell Rashford FC that they’re wrong.

As someone who has been mostly neutral on Rashford over the past 2 seasons, the move was necessary for both parties. It’s been toxic for ages.

Our fans, the media, etc have all been on him OTT for a long time, but in the same vein, Rashford has refused to consistently show up and train properly for well over 18 months.

Kind of a moot point: if we continue to show faith in Amorim, Rashford was never going to work, even if he showed up properly. Guy really doesn’t want wingers.

and he lied about going out on the piss. He was causing trouble under ETHs reign but he had that spell and ETH knew he had to use him. Look at that Wolves game. Late and dropped but he had to be brought on because ETH had nothing else to offer

I'd rather struggle then pander to d***heads

Maybe we need to go from 5 defenders to 7, that’ll bring the joy back to Rubens Reds.

Ruben is that great in fact Sporting still first on the Portuguese league thanks to his winning streak...
Anyway I was watching the game against Tottenham last week and it got me thinking to myself which player from this ManU would actually start on Spurs team and the answer is not even ONE perhaps Bruno and the thing is that Spurs not even top5 best squad on PL.
ManU was no players while what you witnessing now is the actual result of a whole decade being the worst team in Europe on every transfer window every single year tbh yall dont make a good one since like Giggs retired

    90m for Anthony
    85m for Sancho
    85m for Lukaku
    87m for Maguire
    73m for Rasmus
    70m for Casemiro
    65m for Mount
    60m for Fred
    60m for Martial
    50m for Onana
    50m for Ugarte
    105m for Pogba

I mean is there a worse purchase history in the history of football?
ManU threw over 1billion down the drain in less than ten years

Ugarte will pan out imo but you could’ve added Varane to that list who left on a free in the end. And many others.

It must be the worst 10 year stretch in any club idk who to compare us to even. Liverpool had a bad stretch for long time in 2000s when I started watching but it was 1/20th of this net spend. Literally no comparable to how bad the transfers are here.

Liverpool got Crouch for 7mil though they forgiven haha even Chelsea did a couple bad ones too but ManU is simply outrageous is like they playing Football manager and they suck at it the club has no structure no identity no honor nothing..
Truth be told its arguably the biggest downfall in history if you neck and neck the now and then, its incomprehensible how it got this far and how did it took so long for them to clean up the house and laying all that weight on one man only seems to be a very uncomfortable as ungrateful position for one to be indeed though thats basically what we talking about here and thats what everybody expects him to do..
In the end I believe he's up for the task just not with these players

time will tell. I see no evidence that hes up for the task so far, worse CV than ETH coming into it, and seems totally lost in the sauce. same as any other player we sign from a third tier league that we expect to perfect in PL. think we got fooled in overweighing him being a good dude, versus what it is truly important to succeed at the top level.
