Nagelsmann is the only coach available that would be better than Ole imo
allegri is better than ole. in fact even potter is better that ole

I didn’t watch that juve team much but at least he always won serie a with them every year
ole will?
No, but what’s the point in switching managers if the results wouldn’t get better.

That’s not that difficult tho

We've also seen clear progress under Ole and been the most enjoyable we've been to watch post SAF era.
Obviously we've had dips but context is huge.

We do like 2 steps forward 1.5 steps back every 2 months

I see what you're saying but I disagree when looking at the big picture.

no clear progress. just 250 million spent.

I thought you rated Maguire and wan?

The team rarely passes the eye test and when they do they usually follow with an awful performance. None of the forwards are putting together consistent great or even good performances and the midfield almost never have control of the game
I get being optimistic but at a certain point you have to wonder when the performances are going to catch up with the results (which aren't even that great)

The context in which Ole was brought in is key. We had a toxic dressing room and a divided squad who were fragments from past managers.
Yes he's spent money but he's also shipped a lot of deadweight, especially ones on high wages. This is a process that's still going on ie: Jesse, Phil Jones, Dalot, even Juan Mata to some degree (bit harsh on Juan but his wages are outrageous)
We had no leaders, Antonio Valencia of all people was captain... Slowly Ole brought in players who are leaders in one by one and we are seeing a much more unified squad. More so than under Moyes, LVG, and Jose imo.
Bruno Fernandes is undoubtedly the best post-SAF signing and Ole rarely gets credit for being the one to bring him in. He identified him 6 months prior but Glazers/Woodward yet again dragged their feet on backing him and waiting until our squad was depleted due to injuries.
Bruno is not only an excellent creative force which the midfield has clearly been lacking but a strong character. Having him be the focal point in a squad as young as the current one is excellent management imo.
To be clear, I dont agree with everything Ole does, but I can not get behind sacrificing all the progress we've had since Jose just to bring in another big manager who will underperform. We have a young team, plenty of homegrown talent, and a manager who knows what it means to play for the shirt. I'm here for it.
