Kinda shocked to see Norman & Foster use AI generated architecture images

  • Glad we have the net on there to prevent Dalots crosses from leaving the stadium

  • skysports.com/football/video/19508/13326251/manchester-united-new-stadium-why-it-could-take-just-five-years-to-build

This video sold me on it, I think the tent thing is smart…..it rains a lot why not protect from that.

  • Oblivion 🇹🇭

    WE ARE BROKE

  • Circus Tent stadium fitting for the clowns playing in there

  • At least it’s unique, gotta give it that

Some of the renders look heavily AI assisted at least (to me)

Some of the wording on the scoreboards has that typical AI slop blur to it

Where? All seems like normal words to me, most of them just say Manchester United

Yall brains are cooked, this looks like every architectural pre-render I’ve seen over the last 15 years

The building masses in front of the stadium gave it away for me.
Then you have irregular lines and proportions in the seating area of the stadium. The haziness of the mass of people. Nobody ive seen in architecture edits that many people in.

Like yes it’s not entirely AI for sure. Seems to be a base of AI with some heavy photoshop editing done.

    thats what I posted -_-

  • Damn I just noticed some detail in those pictures vid which will upset a certain group of people if they'd see it lol

  • was just watching a random BBC interview with SJR from I guess this week - and the reporter said 'are you annoyed to see rashford now doing well at villa'

???? did the definition of 'well' change and I missed that announcement. SJR probably did a split second calculation thinking do I correct him and say hes doing the same he did at united, or stick with it and say yep great to see him doing 'well'.

MR price going up either way. cheers

  • Wonder whether I'll finally be able to get a season ticket when we move to the new stadium, been on the waiting list since 2014

  • I guess I’m just failing to see why we can’t just upgrade Old Trafford like the Nou Camp or Bernabeu

  • We’re going to sell the naming rights too aren’t we

Idk if you’ve been there recently but OT is literally falling apart, full renovation would take at least 5-10 years as well, would probably cost about as much, and which in this time we’d have to find some other place to play as well missing out on a lot of income. Renovation would’ve been viable 10-15 years ago, but unfortunately Glazers kinda made a new stadium the only option

I was there towards the end of the season last year and definitely agree it has gotten to a point where it’s dated in areas and needs work.

My issue though is mainly that I see other clubs of our size globally preserving their history and doing the hard work of saving the ground. It would definitely be expensive but considering our revenue we could afford it. It would just require the Glazers to spend some of their own money

it’s romanticism but knowing that we’ll be playing on new ground that Ferguson never stood or Charlton never saw really doesn’t sit right with me. When you compare the atmosphere of the Emirates to the Highbury it’s not even close imo. We’re going to lose a significant part of our soul leaving Old Trafford and I’m worried we’ll become further unrecognizable in the coming years

At least the Glazers get their Disneyland I suppose..
